Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance Of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Bahr mobile application, website, support channels, or related services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use Bahr.

These Terms apply to guests, property owners, managers, administrators, and visitors.

2. About Bahr

Bahr is a North Coast chalet rental platform for discovering properties, requesting or completing bookings, managing reservations, coordinating check-in, selecting add-on services, communicating with support, and supporting owner/admin operations.

Bahr is not a property owner, hotel, insurer, bank, payment issuer, or travel agency unless explicitly stated for a specific transaction.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding agreements to create an account, make bookings, list properties, or use payment features. Bahr may suspend accounts that violate this requirement.

4. Accounts And Security

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete account information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and device access.
  • Phone/SMS, Google sign-in, and Apple sign-in may be used for authentication depending on your device and account choice.
  • You must not impersonate another person, create fraudulent accounts, or bypass Bahr security checks.
  • Contact support@bahr.ltd if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Bookings And Reservations

When using Bahr to request or complete a booking:

  • Availability, prices, taxes, service fees, insurance or security deposits, add-on services, and rules are shown before confirmation when available.
  • A booking is confirmed only after Bahr or the property owner confirms the reservation in the app or through an approved support channel.
  • Guests must follow the listed occupancy limits, check-in instructions, property rules, and community regulations.
  • Owners must honor confirmed bookings unless a valid safety, legal, payment, or force majeure reason prevents the stay.
  • Bahr may cancel, reject, or investigate bookings that appear fraudulent, unsafe, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.

6. Payments

  • Bahr may support Paymob card checkout, Paymob wallet checkout, secure payment links, cash on arrival, Vodafone Cash, bank transfer, InstaPay, and other approved methods.
  • Payment availability may vary by chalet, owner, booking type, device, country, or platform.
  • Third-party payment providers process card, wallet, bank, or transfer information under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Bahr does not store full card numbers.
  • You are responsible for bank fees, transfer fees, chargebacks, insufficient funds, incorrect transfer references, or payment delays caused by your payment provider.

7. Pricing, Discounts, And Add-ons

Bahr may use dynamic pricing, duration discounts, coupons, peak season multipliers, service fees, and optional add-on services such as private chefs, cleaning, airport transfers, or concierge requests. Final visible checkout pricing should be reviewed before payment or confirmation.

8. Cancellations And Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility may vary by property, season, payment status, owner policy, and support review. Where a listing or checkout flow provides a specific cancellation policy, that policy controls for the booking.

  • Refunds may be reduced by payment processing fees, non-refundable service fees, used add-ons, damage claims, or late cancellation charges.
  • Security or insurance deposits may be returned after checkout if no damage, missing items, overstays, penalties, or disputes are reported.
  • No-shows, false guest information, unauthorized parties, or rule violations may result in cancellation without refund.
  • Contact support with your booking number for cancellation or refund help.

9. Guest Conduct

Guests agree to use Bahr and booked properties lawfully, respectfully, and safely. Guests must not damage property, exceed occupancy, host unauthorized events, disturb communities, use properties for illegal activity, harass owners or support agents, or misuse chat, payment, or verification systems.

10. Owner Responsibilities

Property owners and managers who use Bahr agree to provide accurate listing information, lawful rental authority, current availability, honest pricing, safe property conditions, correct check-in instructions, responsive guest support, and compliance with applicable laws and taxes.

11. Support, Account Deletion, And Privacy

Bahr provides support through the app and the public Support URL. Privacy and account deletion requests are handled under the Privacy Policy. You may request account deletion by emailing privacy@bahr.ltd.

12. Intellectual Property

Bahr's name, logo, app interface, website, text, graphics, code, design, trademarks, and content are owned by Bahr Technologies, Dekwin, or their licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without written permission, except where permitted by law.

13. Third-Party Services

Bahr may integrate Firebase, Google services, Apple services, Paymob, maps, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, and other third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and availability limitations.

14. Disclaimers

Bahr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, every listing's availability, every owner's conduct, or every third-party service. We work to keep information accurate, but listings, prices, and availability can change.

15. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bahr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, travel disruption, owner/guest conduct, or third-party service failures. Bahr's total liability for a claim will not exceed the fees paid to Bahr by you for the booking or service giving rise to the claim.

16. Suspension And Termination

Bahr may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, listings, bookings, or access if we believe there is fraud, abuse, safety risk, legal risk, payment failure, policy violation, or misuse of the platform.

17. Governing Law And Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. We encourage users to contact support first so disputes can be handled quickly and fairly.

18. Changes To Terms

We may update these Terms when Bahr changes or legal requirements evolve. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
